Michael is a commercial solicitor with over 30 years' experience of legal practice in England, Hong Kong and Australia. Before establishing Tyler & Co, Michael practiced with two of Sydney's largest commercial law firms. He has experience as corporate counsel for several listed public companies. He was one of the first specialists in business law accredited by the Law Society of New South Wales.

Michael's main areas of practice are:

Michael is a past Director and Vice President of the Chatswood Chamber of Commerce.  He is President of the Rotary Club of Ku-ring-gai and a past Secretary of Forestville Montessori School.

In his spare time Michael enjoys rowing, sailing, bushwalking, overseas travel, music and reading.
